The mercurial advancements in technology have made coding a requisite. It is the step-by-step instructions that tell a machine how to achieve the desired result. Early tech education helps kids become innovative creators rather than passive consumers of games and apps. We can leverage the interest kids have, to develop technology that changes the world for the better.

The downside is that kids will have a lot of time in front of screens which will lead to a lack of interest in outdoor activities. Besides this, the syntax for coding learnt at a younger age may become obsolete when they grow up. However, the problem-solving skills developed by coding will help them overcome bigger challenges they may face later in life.
In light of the fact that the benefits outweigh the risks, it is time we teach our kids the new literacy – coding!
