Artificial Intelligence

Every discovery or invention has faced resistance, from Galileo’s solar system to the Internet to Artificial intelligence. Artificial Intelligence (AI) enables machines to function with a degree of autonomy, resulting in the effective execution of iterative tasks. This is considered a bleeding-edge technology as it is still not quite ready for mass adoption.

While humans are essential in making decisions based on the sorted data, artificial intelligence (AI) has a clear edge in sorting and displaying massive volumes of data. It is the best at occupations requiring precision, risk, continuous availability, and repeated operations.

On the flip side, AI does result in employment losses, human laziness due to digital assistants, and excessive reliance on technology. The bright spot for humanity in the current scenario is that, despite the rapid advancement of technology, there is always a need for a creative, emotional or ethical component in everything we do.

Artificial intelligence will immensely help us as long as it is applied with some prudence and ethical considerations.
